Most women agree that they were disappointed with the way their boyfriend proposed. They secretly felt it lacked romance on what should be the start of the journey to the church altar.

When a girl boosts about that wonderful romantic proposal of marriage you made to her she is strengthening her inner feelings for you. If she — even mentally —  is thinking that your marriage proposal had no life in it no feelings she is emotionally weakening her feelings for you. Dropping hints of marriage will not cut any ice in a list of romantic marriage proposals — so don't even go down that route even if you think you are only testing the water to get an idea of her reaction. It is not worth it and will take the surprise out of that special occasion.

Girls in case you thought I was being sexist above I honestly believe that there is nothing wrong in a girl proposing marriage when she is sure of her feelings. Some men will never work up the courage to say some things that are on their mind.
