Lovemaking and Intimacy Within A Romantic Relationship

Lovemaking within relationships.

The subject of lovemaking within a marriage relationship is often relegated to either suggestive sniggers or is not touched upon in polite discussions. It is an important part of building and maintaining a romantic relationship between couples and should not be rushed into lightly.

Yet for many couples this is an area which they would love to be able to explore but who can they turn to easily without embarrassment.

I mean who can you talk to about the subject of sexual matters?  Doctors are there for medical matters but do they have the time to discuss personal sexual and emotional issues given time and financial pressures on their workload?

Your friends can't always be trusted not to pass it on to gossip with others.  Would you really want everyone else to think you were having problems with sex?

Most people can not talk to their parents about these intimate lovemaking matters so who is left? Most of the books being sold on the internet tend to be full of rubbish which is useless to you, (some of it may even be dangerous) or aimed at the extreme "kinky" stuff for which you may not be even willing to consider.

How do you find information and support which is going to able to give you the help and advice you for which you are actively looking?

In order to provide you with an introduction to the subject we pulled together a collection of articles written at different levels of understanding to help you. I do need to warn you however that although we are dealing with sex and love making within a romantic relationship — a subject matter that almost all people within a long term relationship are actively participating in on a fairly regular basis we have to be sensitive as there may be under age children reading this web page. We have no way of preventing children from having access to this section of our web site.

So in order to give deeper advice and guidance in this area we have also selected three or four books which look at the different levels of sex or making love within marriage relationships. We have also reviewed them in depth in order to provide you with an insiders guide to selecting which would be the most appropriate for you and your own circumstances.

These books are chargeable — albeit at a low cost — but this prevents them being obtained by underage children who would not usually have access to the bank cards necessary to purchase them on line.

I hope you appreciate the difficulty of trying to provide appropriate advice and support on this subject and the steps we are having to take.  Warning some of the authors may not be happy to read what I say but I have to be honest about what I think.

The Treasure Chest...

“Before my boyfriend left to study overseas I gave him a small wooden box that looked like a pirates treasure chest.

Inside was a small packet of his favourite sweets and a note saying "Whenever you are having a bad day open up this box and there will a sweet from me and a kiss"

The kiss was of course one of mine wearing a bright red lipstick on the bottom of the note.

Every month I send him a refill bag. He loves it but is saying he goes to that box not only when feeling down but whenever he is thinking of something sweet  — ME."
